Meet our 2021 53nd Annual International Juried Exhibition Juror

Thomas W. Schaller, AWS / NWS / TWSA

We are pleased to announce that Thomas W. Schaller, AWS NWS TWSA  will be the juror of the 53rd Annual Exhibition.  Thomas is an internally acclaimed artist and has won numerous awards in national and international competition, both for his architectural renderings, as well as his fine art work.  He is much sought-after as a workshop instructor, and as a presenter at the Plein-Air Conference PACE, and most recently for Watercolor Live 2021. Thomas has artwork in a number of permanent collections The Johhan Museum in Shanghai, The Watermark Museum in Fabriano, Italy, The Tchoban Foundation in Berlin, the Museum of Watercolor in Mexico City,  and the Pacific Arts Foundation in  Newport Beach.  He work has been featured in prestigious International Watercolor Masters exhibition in over twenty countries including Shanghai, England, Italy, China and Russia.

You have probably seen his work in The Artist Magazine, Watercolor Artist Magazine, The Art of Watercolor or a host of other books and magazine, videos or DVDs.   His book, Thomas Schaller, Architect of Light: Watercolor Paintings by a Master, released by North Light Books, has pages and pages of his glorious light-filled paintings We are looking forward to the exhibition Mr. Schaller will put together from your entries, and are delighted to have him as our juror this year!
